Zhan Zhao (展昭) is a fictional character, a righteous knight-errant with incredible martial arts skills, often helping Prefect Bao Zheng uphold justice. Emperor Renzong of Song made him a 4th rank royal guard and gave him the title "Royal Cat" for his swift movements.
In the show Bāo Qīng Tiān he is often seen jumping across great distances to chase down criminals and fight in the air which inspired one of the pose I made.
Zhao Zhao is played by several actors but I mostly love his portrait by Kenny Ho so I do my best to match his likeness in the film.
Bāo Qīng Tiān is a hugely successful show in Eastern Asia and leave me quite an impression when I was little. Not only till recently when I rewatched it that I realize how good the show is, so I decided to make a fanart of one of the character from the show.
He have some quite unique difficulty to make, from the lack of HD refs of the character and the actor, to the intricate textured knitting on the robe, to having to make 4 different set of cloths for his 4 poses but overall he is quite fun to make.
