Head Planes and Lightrooms - For 2D Artists

Hi all,

During my journey of learning 2D artist I notice that sometime I want a 3D view and light to see how certain things look and works in 3D. And considering I know 3D why not make a few head planes as references so that I can freely place objects and light how I want ? And why note share it with everyone ?

I design this tutorial for 2D artists who have never used a 3D software before. Who I hope will try and see how 3D could assist in your art.

I included a blender file which contains 3D heads ( Anime, Loomis and Asaro head ) a long with a written tutorial on how to make the most of them. This tutorial doesn't stop at just how to use the included heads, it also cover a few basic things to know to make use of basic shapes and lights, all the way to get your image out of blender.

I hope any 2D artist reading this can spend a few hour playing with blender while read my tutorial, who knows how much those few hour can worth to you eh ? Maybe it can assist you with that pesky cast shadow that you can't get quite right, or a few head angle that you can't find any reference for.

And if this have been useful to you, feel free to share the files around, or share this product around to help make our journey that bit easier.
